INTRODUCTION
The Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) was organized July 3, 1944.  The SWCD works with landowners in both rural and urban settings to carry out a program for the conservation, use and development of soil, water and related resources.  The district is a political subdivision of the state and is governed by a five member Board of Supervisors.  The board sets policy, hires employees, and is responsible to see that the operations of the district are run effectively and according to the law and rule.

The SWCD's goal is to provide quality and accurate information.  All information within this site, though, is subject to change and should only serve as a guideline for the SWCD's services and procedures.  For the most current and accurate information, please contact the SWCD at 507.694.1630 Ext 3.

The Lincoln SWCD prohibits discrimination in all its programs and activities on the base of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation, and marital or family status.
